Exceptional value for money...

A short break in our region won't break the bank with many of our guests considering Casa Bella Teepees to be great 'value for money' (9.8 / 10, from 38 recent guest reviews). **  

We provide all you need to self-cater and prepare yummy meals in your own space with a private gas barbeque and a well-stocked kitchen area, all you need is food and drink and a slice of imagination. 

If eating out is your thing, we are blessed with 2 outstanding bar restaurants in the village, alongside a pizzeria, various cafe’s and a host of other eateries dotted around the area within a short drive or a good walk.  

Guests find it memorable that you get ‘free’ tapa accompanying every cold drink in our locale! It’s a tradition here and something we LOVE!​ You’ll love it too! So don't be too quick to order lots of dishes from the menu, see what arrives first and how hungry you are after! 

We have two restaurants right on the lake, both with spectacular views Restaurante El Nautico and Restaurante Los Baños. During the week the Restaurante Los Baños offer a menu del dia for as little at 12€. Eating from either of their main menus is not expensive either. 

We like to mention the top places within our village as they are reliable and great quality and within a walk or short drive. 

Gastrobar La Almazara. Their meat dishes are superb and great value for money and the puntillas de calamar is wonderful. They always serve the best tapas, which are of course, FREE with every cold drink.   

Pizzeria Jabalcon - This is our favourite pizza place, we've eaten pizza all over Europe and Paco's handmade base is right up there with the best. Pizza takeout or eat in, from 8.50 €. Sit and have a beer while you wait and enjoy your tapa.

El Boliche del Nene 

Lovely atmosphere, cool music, great beer with free tapa and a fabulous menu offering unique meat and fish dishes. These people are friends and run a tight ship. 

There should be plenty of free events held in the plaza during the summer.

Cost effective activities near us include water sports on the lake and horse riding near Baza, besides the beautiful nature spots we recommend which are of course free of charge.  

Lake Negratin (dam end) 

Paddle board 10 € per hour 

Kayak 10 € per hour 

(Sometimes in the not so busy periods they offer 2 hours for the price of 1, bargain!!)  

Horse riding 

The lovely folk Yeguada Y Granja Escuels stables offer horse riding experiences for all ages and abilities. Prices change with duration, experience and time of day so best to check with the stable on applicable rates. 

Massage at Casa Bella Teepees with Christina 

Christina gives a chilled-out relaxation massage for 35 euros per person at your teepee or under our big Jasmin tree. Christina is a trained physiotherapist and offers deep tissue massage to help repair muscles and ligaments. Many customers comment it’s the best massage they’ve ever had. Prices vary dependant on treatment specifics. 

Free mountain bike hire. Get to see the outstanding natural beauty the surrounds us on bike.  

Thermal Baths (at the Restaurante Los Baños)  

The famous “Baños de Zujar” a thermal bathing pool overlooking Lake Negratin which dates back to pre-Roman times. For a small fee of 2.50 € per person all ages can enjoy a relaxing swim or soak in warm waters, rich in minerals with health benefits for the skin, heart and overall well-being.  

FREE places to visit and picnic  

Most loved place by our guests, the Enchanted fig forest & river.  

This is our favourite picnic spot especially on a hot day. There’s a lovely picnic area beneath the tall trees as well as by the side of the river. You’ll find a walkway over the streams and small cascades that go right through a fig forest.   

Another magical spot is the Guazalamanco stream with small cascades, crystal clear pools and beautiful waterfalls. An enchanting paradise in which to admire the green glades, tall pine trees and plant life.
